There is a change in location for our February 9th Indivisible Meeting. Instead of the Munnecke Room at the library, we will be meeting in the dining room of the Leland Lodge (565 Pearl Street, Leland). Our regular meeting begins at 10:00 but Tony Ansorge, our first speaker, has agreed to come early (9:40). Please arrive early to meet him and have coffee and refreshments before the meeting begins.
Craig Mauger is our other speaker. He will be discussing the role of money in Michigan politics. As a reminder, we are requesting that people attending not bring plastic water bottles and come with their own mug for coffee or tea which we will provide. Hope to see you on Saturday morning at the Leland Lodge.

American Promise is a non-partisan group committed to getting a Constitutional Amendment that overturns Citizens United and to get money out of politics once and for all. According to American Promise, they are already getting bi-partisan Congressional support for this idea. One of their founders has spoken to Jack Bergman who indicates he thinks this is a good idea—although he has not given a firm commitment yet.
Let’s show up and show strong support for the Northwestern (lower) Michigan launch of this initiative.
