Rich Bergmann, CEO of Lake Charlevoix Brewing Company and founding Great Lakes Business Network member, is hosting a candidate education discussion with Democratic candidate for Attorney General Dana Nessel. This event will be held Monday July 30th, 1:00 p.m. at Lake Charlevoix Brewing Company, which is located on the south side of the drawbridge in Charlevoix. You are welcome to attend, meet Ms. Nessel, and engage in a discussion about the Line 5 pipeline.
The office of Attorney General, as well as the Governor of Michigan, have the power to revoke the easement that allows Enbridge to run Line 5 through the Straits of Mackinac. Attorney General candidate Nessel has been outspoken in the media about her commitment to decommission the Line 5 pipeline. This is an opportunity to hear directly from her about how she intends to do that, and ask questions about her position.
