100 days to define our future. On July 26, we hit 100 days until November 3, 2020. And even more pressing, we have less than two months until absentee ballots drop in Michigan. In a campaign year defined by a pandemic, we need more volunteers than ever to have the conversations necessary to win. Make no mistake, the way Michigan votes will decide the future of this county, and it is going to take every precinct in every county showing up to leave no doubt about our choices. The time to step up is now. Please join us in a massive voter contact effort July 25-26, as we aim to have 100 people make 100 calls. Every dial adds up, and we’re asking folks to go beyond their comfort zones, dig deep, and commit to making a difference. Your call could be the one that brings a brand new vote to us in November. Northern Michigan is a place that is often forgotten when it comes to resources. And with six professional organizers on the ground here for the first time in decades, we are ready to prove that when given the chance, volunteers here show up ready to work and ready to win. 10,000 calls. 100 days out. We’ve got this– if you join us. Each of our phone banks will kick off with a quick training to make sure that you have all the information that you need to make calls from home. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the event organizer by emailing [email protected].Plus, because we want to beat GT: Grand Traverse County committed to 35 shifts– and our organizer, Eli, wants to see us beat that number! Let’s have a little friendly competition (and big time bragging rights) to prove why Leelanau is the shining BLUE county here in Northern Michigan! Here is the link to sign up: https://www.mobilize.us/onecampaignformichigan/event/286847/It’s fun! Get some friends together (physically distancing of course) and reward yourselves afterward with a glass of wine or an ice cream sundae :). 100 days left to get a many people to VOTE BLUE as we can. YOU CAN DO THIS! |
